A stall in Maxwell market very popular with the office crowd. There is always a queue if you are here during office lunch times. Monkey see, monkey do. It is just opposite Zhen Zhen porridge.

I had the fried fish bee hoon soup, probably the most ordered option from this stall.

Price was $4. Other price options were $5 and $6.

The soup tasted decent, especially when hot (you can also read as “not so nice when it cools down”). The bee hoon were conveniently cut to short strands such that you can eat with just a spoon. The fish used was dory. This was understandable as it was cheap. However, this fish did not have a nice taste or bite. The fish meat is thin at places and I tasted more of the fried edges than fish meat. Vegetables was kailan which left a good bit of fiber to spite out.
